Alexa Turzian rollerskiing on the road to Soldier Hollow, warming up for some 3x10min L3 intervals around the SoHo paved trails.

3hr point-to-point OD run on the Mid Mountain and Spiro trails in Park City. See the four girls running straight across along the top. Yeah, that was where the trail was, but I was in the part of the group that decided to follow Matt Whitcomb and Pat Casey on the alternate route. I don't know what I think about following Matt & Pat.

L3 is term I use to define the level of intensity. Other ways to describe it are: threshold, a lactate of about 4mmol, perceived rate of exertion about 6 on a 1-10 scale, about as hard as you could maintain for an hour, too hard to talk but your lungs aren't quite burning.

OD: over distance. I call anything over 2.5hrs an OD. Unless it's a really easy week than I might call something an OD just for being over 2hrs.
