The APU men on their last set of speeds this morning at the first ski of the year at Hatcher Pass. This speed is being lead by, I believe, the intrepid Bart Dengel. The skiing was fantastic: new snow, sunshine, and great grooming by Mark Strabel.

That is an awesome shot of the men! Mountains, snow and skiers hammering it out in the low-angle light - what more could you want?
BTW, was it still rock skis at Hatcher?
no rocks on my ski bases! Some of the classic tracks were starting to cut a little close to the pavement this morning, but otherwise the coverage is decent. I still wouldn't use your most favorite pair though.
