It's a pretty little snow storm here in the U.P. so we should have a nice slog of a race tomorrow. The tougher the race the better, I say.
I'll be starting bib #181 at 11:15:15. And yes, the women's field starts with bib #1.

I tried, high energy expenditure at least this morning (well, for a 5k).
How did you end up with start bib #181?
As one of the top skiers in the U.S., I would think you'd be one of the first to start.
they seeded it Z-A so the fastest seed went last and the slowest (which here really just means that these were the people with the lowest USSA pts) went first. They try to arrange the start order so that the highest ranked people get to race when they *think* the course will be fastest.
For the classic race the seed order is C-B-A-D-E-F...
