Larry & Peter waxing. Grover's standing to the right mostly, I think, overseeing the general scene to make sure all of us athletes have our acts together. We try to keep the wax techs earning their keep on sprint days but today we didn't do such a good job of the since none of our teams made the finals.

Since Kik & I were pretty much watching from the same spots and since we swap camera cards anyway I decided to take pictures of Kikkan taking pictures so we wouldn't have so many duplicates.

Torin Koos (orange hat) in the men's semifinal. Those orange hats sure are nice for being able to pick people out of the pack. Someday maybe our suits will match too.

There are a few bridges at the venue which make for good spectating opportunities. This was during the women's final.

After racing Kik and I went for a cool down jog/cheer/take pictures and checked out some of the other (dirt) ski trails that will be used at the 2009 World Championships. Looks like the sprint and most of the races will start out with a nice climb out of the stadium. Here's to hoping there's snow here next winter.

One of the Swedish skiers who apparently missed out on the final was watching the races from the top of the hill.

Kikkan also showed me how she climbed the big hill yesterday. We were a little disappointed that we didn't take a picture of the hill when it was nothing but sugar slush and rocks-- it looks like pretty decent skiing in this shot.
